Fazenda had the talent, the partnerships, and the product. They brought on a master roaster, earned a place on Whole Foods shelves, and became a favorite in Boston’s top cafés. What they needed was a brand that reflected the same level of craft as their coffee.

Responsibilities

As Lead Designer, I shaped the brand identity, redesigned the packaging system, and collaborated with the creative team to ensure a consistent and scalable rollout.

Brand Identity

I collaborated with the creative team to shape a new visual identity that expressed Fazenda’s precise yet passionate approach to coffee. The system gave the brand a confident voice while staying approachable.

Packaging

The packaging redesign created a bold, cohesive look across the product line while highlighting the origin of each roast. By calling attention to where the beans were harvested, the labels reinforced Fazenda’s roots and gave the brand stronger visibility in cafés, restaurants, and Whole Foods stores.

Impact

The rebrand gave Fazenda a stronger presence on shelves and supported their move from a local favorite into national retail. The new identity built credibility with partners like Whole Foods while still reflecting their roots as a craft roaster.
